WHEN & WHERE

CDARC meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday evenings of each month at 7:30pm in:


  • Coleridge Community College,
  • Radegund Road,
  • Cambridge CB1 3RJ

Maps showing how to reach the college may be viewed HERE


These evenings usually have a formal presentation or demonstration which begins promptly at 8:00pm.

We operate nets on:


Sundays at 08:30

Either 80m 3.655MHz* LSB or 40m 7.0875MHz* LSB


Sundays at 11:30

Tuesdays at 17:00

Wednesdays at 20:00

2m 145.550MHz FM (V)


* Frequency may be varied by a few kHz to avoid other users.




REMOTELY-CONTROLLED SHACK

The club operates a Shack which may be remotely-controlled via the internet by any member holding a Full Licence.

Either download an Application Form from the Downloads page or have a word with our Treasurer who will provide you with one. Complete the form and return it to the Treasurer, either at the club or by e-mail.

We run a Buddy Scheme


If you're a newly licensed amateur, to help you get started you can have an experienced Buddy allocated to give tips and practical advice, on a one-to-one basis, on how to set up a ham station.
