WHEN & WHERE

CDARC meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday evenings of each month at 7:30pm in:


  • Coleridge Community College,
  • Radegund Road,
  • Cambridge CB1 3RJ

These evenings usually have a formal presentation or demonstration which begins promptly at 8:00pm.

We operate nets on:


(some) Sundays at 08:30

2m 144.180MHz USB (H)


Sundays at 10:30

Either 40m 7.0875MHz* LSB or 80m 3.620MHz* LSB


Sundays at 11:30

2m 145.550MHz FM (V)


(some) Wednesdays at 20:00

2m 145.550MHz FM (V)


* Frequency may be varied by a few kHz to avoid other users.

Either download an Application Form from the Downloads page or have a word with our Treasurer, Steve Blunt, who will provide you with one.


Complete the form and return it, with the appropriate fee, to Steve, either at the club or by post to the address on the form.


NEED A BUDDY?

We run a Buddy Scheme


If you're a newly licensed amateur, to help you get started you can have an experienced Buddy allocated to give tips and practical advice, on a one-to-one basis, on how to set up a ham station.

SHACK EVENINGS

We operate from the club shack


on the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of each month from 7:30 - 9:30pm
