RSGB
SYLLABUS CHANGES

The RSGB published its new exam syllabus in August 2018. This affects all three exams. The Foundation exam will cover more topics and this means that the length of the course must be extended. The current duration of a single weekend will probably need to increase to a weekend plus one additional day. The additional day will probably be the Saturday or Sunday of the following weekend.

We will inform candidates of the new arrangements when we invite you to register with the RSGB - usually one month before the start of the course.

The new exam specifications (Syllabus) can be viewed
HERE

NEXT INTERMEDIATE COURSE

The next Intermediate Course starts on 15th December at Foxton Village Hall and will run on several Saturday mornings and one full Saturday over the next four months. The exam will probably be in March 2019.
If you want to participate, get in touch with Peter right away.

For more information about courses in general have a look at our

Training Page

Meanwhile, you can further your interest in amateur radio by coming along on club evenings or field days to meet our members and enjoy the activities.
